This region is the home for the four of the world's six tallest peaks including Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu, and Cho Oyu etc.

Our Everest Base Camp Luxury Lodge Trek begins with a sightseeing tour of the historical and cultural monuments in Kathmandu. It helps you to understand the history and culture of Nepal as well as bringing you near to Hindu and Buddhist tradition and also you get chance to observe many temples, shrines, Gumba, stupas, bazaars, streets and monuments as well in Kathmandu.

The next day, we have an interesting flight along Himalaya to Hillary Airport at Lukla. Further, we will step towards to Namche Bazaar, the capital of the Sherpas. Our trek continues by following the trail to a famous Kala Patthar, which offers us  marvelous 360 degree panorama of the Himalayas. After achieving our target of Everest Base Camp, we go back to Lukla for a return flight to Kathmandu.

Detail Itineraries

  • Day 01Kathmandu (1350m)Arrive at Tribhuban International Airport, Kathmandu and warm welcome from our airport representative or tour operator and move to the hotel. You can enjoy your free time. At evening, a small meeting with our tour operator or tour guide for required information about whole program. Overnight, 4 star category hotel in Kathmandu.
  • Day 02Kathmandu (1350m)After breakfast, the day’s program starts with sightseeing of Kathmandu Darbar Square. Here you can enjoy the scenery of a beautiful ancient Royal palace, fully emblazoned traditional Nepalese wood craftsmanship and several pagodas. At evening we go to Swayambhunath Stupa (a beautiful Buddhist temple), which is the place to search peace in the middle of a huge city of Kathmandu valley. It is the perfect place to observe the Kathmandu valley in the aerial view of 360 degrees. Drive back to the hotel.
  • Day 03Kathmandu (1350m) – Lukla (2860) – Phakding (2610 m), Fly 40 minutes to Lukla, and walk to 3-4 hours to PhakdingWe take an early morning flight to Lukla, where most of the Everest treks begin. We meet the rest of our team in Lukla and start walking after sorting of baggage. Our Trail leads us gradually descends to the Cheplung village from where we get a glimpse of Mt. Khumbila, a sacred mountain which has never been climbed. From here, we gradually descend until Phakding. Overnight in Phakding. Overnight in a lodge with full board. Ascend: 100m / Descend: 250m

  • Day 04Phakding - Namche Bazaar (3440 m): 5 - 6 hrs We will start our second days’ trekking by walking through a beautiful pine forest along the Dudh Koshi River crossing many suspension bridges, one of which is the famous Hillary Bridge between two clips. First, we catch the wonderful prospect of the glistening Mt. Thamserku (6618 m) and crossing the Benkar, Chumoa, Monjo, we will reach the check post and entrance to Sagarmatha National Park. The trail passes through the forests and many suspension bridges of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. Finally ascent about two hours we get our first sight of Mt. Everest, peering over the Lhotse-Nuptse. Afterwards, about 1.5 hours of walking, we will reach Namche Bazaar, a gateway to Mt. Everest and main trading center of Khumbu region. We stay overnight in Namche Bazaar at Yeti Mountain Home or similar hotel with full board.
  • Day 05Namche Bazaar acclimatization Day This is the acclimatization day. We have many opportunities to keep us active like a day's hike to Thame, visiting Khunde, relaxing and exploring Namche Bazaar itself. Namche Bazzar is the main center of the Everest (Khumbu region) and have government offices, ATMs, Internet cafes, shops, restaurants, bakery and a colorful market each Friday and Saturday evening. Also, you can make interesting by ascending to Khumjung and return to downhill along one of the oldest monasteries existing in khumbu region of Namchhe Bazzar or we can make a small trip towards the Everest View Hotel, a Japanese scheme to build a deluxe hotel with great views of the highest mountains on Earth and back to Namchhe Bazzar. we stay Overnight in Namche Bazaar at Yeti Mountain Home or a similar hotel with full board.
  • Day 06Namche Bazzar to Deboche(3820m): 5 - 6 hrs After breakfast, we start our trek towards Pangboche enjoying an incredible view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and a close-up view of Thamserku. Our trek follows gradually with few ups and downs with magnificent view of the great Himalaya. On the way, we can encounter with wild lives like pheasant, musk deer and a herd of Himalayan Thar. The trail goes gradually down and up to Kayangjuma. The track then follows through the pine forests after we cross the prayer-flag festooned bridge over Dudh Koshi River. After crossing the river, we reach Phunki Thenga, a small settlement with a couple of tea houses and a small army post. We take a lunch break at Phunki Thenga. Then tough little climb along the pine forests, we reach Tengboche. Tengboche is a great place for close-up views of Ama-Dablam, Nuptse, and Everest also a place of the biggest Buddhist monastery in the Khumbu region. Then after, our trail go along rhododendron forests for about an hour to Deboche.

  • Day 07Deboche to Dingboche (4360m): 4 - 5 hrs We start our walking after breakfast. On the way, we meet several Chortens, mani walls and small villages. In the middle of our walk, we enjoy our lunch with fantastic close-up views of Ama-Dablam. From here onwards the walk is fairly moderate as we enter the Imja Valley. After a while, we descend into the river and begin the last and steepest uphill up to Dingboche. Overnight in Dingboche at a local lodge with full board.
  • Day 08Dingboche to Duglha (4,600 m): 3 - 4 hoursToday we have a relatively short trail to go. Initially, we will walk across a wide pass in a straight way with the beautiful scenery of mighty Himalayas on all sides. When we come closer to yak herder’s place called Dusa, the valley begins to be narrow. We pass the camp site of Phulung Karpo, the first successful Everest Expedition. Then after beautiful view of Mt. Pumori. We will descend a bit, then cross a stream and ascend to Duglha. After reaching Duglha, we can walk for 45 minutes to an hour and visit the Memorial Shrine. We can see the top of Nuptse from this juncture as well as Cholatse, Thamserku and several other magnificent peaks. Spending a night in Duglha is ideal place for acclimatization.

  • Day 09Duglha to Lobuche (4940 m): 2 - 4 hoursAfter Breakfast, We start to ascend to the steep terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. The trail passes through boulder-strewn slopes as we ascend Chupki Lhara which provides spectacular mountain views. The top of the point is filled with prayer flags and stones which are memorial shrines of climbers who lost their lives on Mt. Everest. When we desecend to Khumbu Glacier moraine, we will get the beautiful views, several great peaks including Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori and Mahalangur Himal. After crossing the Khumbu Glacier, we can also observe Mt. Nuptse. As we pass a murmuring stream we do not see the Khumbu glacier because of lateral moraine wall and now we begin to feel a little out of breath due to high altitude.

  • Day 10Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5170 m), visit Everest Base Camp (5364 m): 7-8 hoursWe have to ascend and descend mostly on a glacier path to reach the Everest base camp also lots of twisting on rough terrains. As we reach the base camp we will see a part of the stunningly beautiful Khumbu glacier and also we can enjoy amazing views of Nuptse, Khumbuste and Pumori mountains from the base camp. Everest actually is not visible from here. Overnight in Gorak Shep at a local lodge with full board.
  • Day 11Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5,545m) to Pherice (4,288m) 8-9 hoursWe will wake up early, to be there in Kala Patthar. The sunset view from Kala Patthar is more admirable. As the setting sun's rays fall the snow-capped mountains, the scenery is incredible. We will ascends up-hill in dark and cold temperature and most likely chilly winds with a comfortable pace. During the ascent to Kala Patthar we can make many short break to catch our breath at several outstanding viewpoints. We reach at Kala Patthar, after ascending several hours. As we reach the top, we forget all the difficulties what we bear on the way. We sit on a rock of the Kala Patthar, move our eyes around 3600 to take the incredible panoramic view of Himalayas. It is one of the unbelievable views we experienced in our life. After spending some time at Kala Patthar, we will return back to Gorak Shep.
    After lunch we descend to Pheriche to spend the night. Altogether we will be around 8-9 hours to go. Overnight in Pheriche at a local lodge with full board.
  • Day 12Pheriche-Pangboche-Tengboche-Namche Bazzar (3,440 m): 6 - 7 hrs We will descend approximately 850m in elevation with a lot of ups and downs. We descend along rhododendron and juniper forest and cross the Dudh Koshi River. Possibly on the way we will encounter with mountain goats, Himalayan Thar, snow leopards and colorful pheasants and other wild animals and birds common to the area. Magnificent views of Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Nuptse mountains rise again. We stop at Kyangjuma (3570 m) for a our lunch. After our lunch, the trail to Namche Bazaar is steep slope and passing a chorten and reach the army camp at Namche Bazaa. From here, we can have last look of Mt. Lotse and Nuptse including Mt. Ama Dablam. Last descend of our days, we can enjoy with hot shower here.

  • Day 13Namche Bazaar - Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft): 6 hrs Today we have relatively long and steep downhill trail so we should be careful while descending. From Namchhe Bazzar till to the Hillary Bridge, the trail is continuously descended around 1-2 hours. After crossing suspension bridges of Dudh Kosohi and its tributaries, the trail becomes more level and natural. Today onwards, we found mostly comfortable warm wind. Then after on the way to Lukla, we go along open plains, rhododendron ,pine forests and view on left and right of some snow covered peaks and we also follow the clockwise path to pass the many Mani wall, Chorten and praying wheels and flags standing middle of the our walking track. After arrival in Lukla, we stretch legs and recall the experiences, note down happy moments and some unwanted experienced of the last couple of weeks.

  • Day 14Fly to Kathmandu We will fly early in the morning to Kathmandu from Lukla. Rest of the day we can use as a leisure or a day for souvenir assortment. Or alternatively, you can engage Ayurevedic relaxation session to recover the energy after long treks. There will be a farewell dinner in the evening to celebrate the successful completion of our journey.

  • Day 15Fly Back to Home TownIt’s a time to say goodbye for Nepal. Transfer to Airport in Kathmandu. Our representative will drop you at the Tribuwan International Airport timely.
