Rolwaling Himal is one of the Himalayan ranges which lies in the Gaurishankhar rural municipality in the middle of Langtang range and Everest range includes Melungtse 7181m and Melungtse II 7023m and Gaurishankar 7134m and other some 50 additional peaks over 6000m, extending from Nagpa La pass, the starting point of Mahalangur Himal begins on the southwest to the Tamakosi River. The southern part of the Rolwaling Himalayan range is bounded by the Rolwaling Valley, which occupied with several small Sherpa’s’ village. The major highlights of Rolwaling trek are the fascinating sights of both Mount ranges of Langtang and Everest including the beautiful glimpse of Mt. Dorje Lakpa and Mt. Tashi Lapcha, Tso Rolpa Lake at 4550m and Tso Rolpa glacier and the beautiful waterfalls.
To start the trekking, first we have to travel to Singati Bazar with around 6-7 hours driving from Kathmandu, then starts multiple-days trekking along Khare, Jagat, Simigaoun, Daldung la, Beding (3510m) and Na village (4120m)and finally to Tso Rolpa Lake which is our optimal destination, from where we will return to Na village. After Na village, we will descend along the Rolwaling valley.
