Annapurna is one of the most beautiful Himalaya range in western Himalayan region. It includes different Himalayan Mountains, glaciers, rivers, stream, valleys, gorges, lakes and many more. This region is a very important region for different biodiversity, including numerous  indigenous flora and fauna. Due to magnificent view of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machaphuchchhre, Himchuli and other hundreds of beautiful mountains, visitors spend their time beautifully.

Base camp of Annapurna is one of the popular trekking Destination of the world and it take us to the foothill of Annapurna south via Machhapcuchre base camp and is the starting point of the expedition of Annapurna I.

Detail Itineraries

  • Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu & transfer to hotelHeartily welcome to the Kathmandu, the capital city of Himalayan Kingdom and the city of Pagodas. Divine Excursion will happily welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport. Our airport representative or tour operator guides you to the hotel. You can enjoy your free time. In the evening, we have a meeting with our tour operator or tour guide for the required information about day to day program. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
  • Day 02Kathmandu city tour Today, after breakfast we will visit the medieval city Patan. It is the novel city of religious tolerance with both Hinduism and Buddhism consequently exist with the in the brotherhood. All the pilgrimages of both religions exist one-another in the same place and every person have respect and proud of it. Durbar Square is the main highlight of this city and it is religious and secular center for different Hindu and Buddhist monuments . This city is an “open air museum" where you can experience the daily life of the Newari people, especially the handicraft workers. We will take a lunch at the restaurant with a beautiful garden in the inner courtyard of Patan Museum. In the evening, we will visit the Bouddhnath Stupa, situated in the north-west of Kathmandu. The foundation date of this Stupa goes back to the 5th century AD with a height of 36 meters. This part of the Kathmandu recently developed as a center for Tibetan Buddhism with lots of newly constructed monasteries, mediation centers, Buddhist schools, Buddhist painting schools, university and Buddhist colleges.   • Day 03Drive to Pokhara (820M), explore lakeside in the afternoon (7 Hours’ Drive):- After breakfast, we will take the bus to Pokhara (Flight also Possible on request). The drive is very pleasant along the beautiful countryside of Nepal. The road mostly leads us to nearby the different rivers that might give us some sights of rafters enjoying in white water of Himalayan Rivers. During the drive, we may grateful with the scenery of several beautiful mountains, terraced fields of rice, isolated traditional villages and some newly established towns. Also sometime Himalayan range may welcome us in some places. It's an incredible drive though the road condition is not so good everywhere. In between we will take a lunch break. Finally, after reaching Pokhara, we can enjoy our free time and prepare for next day trekking. Overnight at a Hotel in Pokhara.
  • Day 04Ulleri (1960m) After breakfast, we will catch the bus to Nayapool (1011 m) for around 1.5 hours . After managing the luggage in Nayapool, we will start walking towards Ulleri. Our trail leads us along the bank of the Modi River around 1 hour till Birethanti where we have to show our permits for Annapurna conservation Area and TIMS. Afterwards, our trail goes between rice fields, some typical villages and along bank of another small stream.We walk around 2 hours and take a lunch break in Thikhedhunga. The trail is steep ascent and remains almost same till our todays destination that is Ulleri( 1960m). Ulleri is a small village lies in the lap of Himalayas. This village is the inhabitants of Gurung and Magar. Today we will walk approximately 5-6 hrs. Overnight in a lodge with full board. Ascend approx. 1000m
  • Day 05Ghorepani (2885m)It is our 2nd day in the Nature. Early in the morning, it is possible to have magnificent views of the mountain Annapurna South. After breakfast, we will start days hiking towards Ghorepani (2885m). It is a small village , inhabitant of Magars and lies on the foothill of Poonhill (3210M). The trail mostly covered with dense forest of rhododendrons and paved with the stones but not only here, almost all of the trail of Annapurna paved with stones. Most of the time, we have to walk uphills but sometime downhills too . The hiking is interesting and amazing because of gigantic nature. We will walk today around 4 - 5 hours to reach the Ghorepani for overnight. Overnight in a lodge with full board. Ascend approx. 900m
  • Day 06TadapaniToday, we have to wake up early in the morning and should carry a torch light.Now we start to climb up around 400 meters to Poonhill to explore astonishing sunrise on the top of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and other mighty Himalayas. We have to return back again to the lodge in Ghorepani, arrange the luggage, take the breakfast and move further around 5 -6 hours towards Tadapani fort he next camp. Tadapani is also the Hill station in Annapurna region which serves us the glimpse of Machhapuchhre and Annapurna massif. Stone paved trail ascending and descending in between rhododendron forest and trail along the bank of a beautiful stream brings us to Tadapain. Around an hour ascending, we will again get beautiful panoramic view of Annapurna massif and Dhaulagiri. Then the trail descends till the riverbed then after passing another 1.5 hour, the trail again descends to valley of stream. After crossing it, the trail gradually gains the height till to Tadapani. Overnight in a lodge with full board.
  • Day 07Chhomrong (2170 m): 4-5 hoursAfter breakfast, we will go steep down through rhododendron forests. After a while we will out of the forest and reach to Chule which is a little village on a green ridge above the valley. From here, we had great views down the Kimrong Khola. We already seen the other side of the valley while walking steep descend and steep ascend. We have to also cross the Ghurjung where we can have a break for hot and cold drinks. Now, the path starts the long ascent high above the west bank of the Modi Khola towards Chhomrong (2170m) . Today walk around 4-5 hours. Overnight in a lodge with full board.
  • Day 08Chhomrong to Bamboo (2310mt): 4 - 5 hoursFrom Chhomrong we have to descend till Chhomrong Khola (Stream). After crossing it, the trail slowly raises up as we head towards Sinuwa. Next, we have to cross the beautiful forest to Kuldi Ghar and followed by an easy downhill to Bamboo. Overnight in a lodge overt here with full board.
  • Day 09Bamboo to Deurali (3230m): 3 - 4 hoursWe walk along a bamboo forest which is damp and cold. Afterwards the trail ascends steadily with steep. The forest follows us till Himalayan Hotel and then we again come out in the open space, which offers us astounding views of the Valley of Glacier River below. Now, again the trail leads us uphill in between forest till Hinku Cave from where we can observe our trail dropping down to the river. After crossing the river, again the trail takes us uphill along the beautiful terrain to Deurali, from where we can observe the mind blowing views of the rivers valley, the absolute rock-faced cliffs above wispy waterfalls and many more. Overnight in Deurali with full board.
  • Day 10Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m): 5- 6 hoursWe start our trek along riverbed and then steep trail leads us uphill towards Machhapuchhre base camp, which allow us majestic view of Machhapuchhre , Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli and Gangapurna. Now, the vegetation disappears and the path widens as we enter the Annapurna sanctuary but it amused us the south face of Annapurna which is towering above us and 360-degree panoramic view . From the base camp, we again get view of Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South , Annapurna I, Hiunchuli and other peaks. Overnight at Annapurna Base Camp with full board.
  • Day 11Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo: 7 – 8 hoursNow, gradually it’s the time to return back from the Annapurna base camp. We will take the same path to return back to Bamboo. Today, the trail mostly descends therefore we have to be careful against the slippery, although it won’t be very difficult. It takes a bit longer today to reach to Bamboo. Overnight in Bamboo with full board.
  • Day 12Bamboo to Jhinu Danda : 5 - 6 hoursFrom Bamboo the trails ascend till to Kuldi Ghar. We walk downhill to Chhomrong Khola then we will again climb up along the stone paved steps to Chhomrong. The downhill trail follows us till to Jhinu Danda where we will overnight . But , we have another opportunity too to take a bath in hot springs which is just a 15-20 minute downhill walk from Jhinu Danda. Overnight in Jhinu Danda with full board.
  • Day 13Jhinu Danda to Pokhara:Trek to Nayapul then drive to Pokhara: 6 hours trek, 1.5 hrs drive
    It's easy downhill walking till to Modhi Khola (Stream). After crossing to it around hour uphill in between rice field, then after all the way to downhill to Birethati to Nayapul where our walking ends. From Nayapul we will take the bus. It is 1.5 hour drive to Pokhara. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.
  • Day 14KahtmanduToday we will take the flight along the Himalayan range towards Kathmandu. Once again we have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Himalayan range in background but we have to choose the window seat on left side. Transfer to the hotel and the rest of the day free for individual
  • Day 15Return flight to your home town.
